Exercises in Meditation and body inspiration to calm your nervous system, deepen your focus and attune internally to the divine essence of Love and Light.
Inspirational technique
Chi Manna is an inspirational technique developed to discharge the nervous system and bring the physical body into deeper rest and relaxation. It works grounding and calming and pleasantly stimulating and opening the meridian currents in the body.
All exercises are suitable for all ages, everyone can participate in their own way at their own level. Also, the exercises can be picked up and learned independently as daily exercises. The softness of the body-oriented Chi Manna exercises make room for deep meditation and chanting a mantra.
Regularly there is an inspiring evening of Chi Manna Yoga - body-focused exercises, alignment, movement, breathing, deep relaxation, meditation and connection with the light. Also during the light circle or meditation days or evenings I hope to inspire you and help you on your way to experience the exercises and also start applying them yourself, relax to start doing your own meditation and physical exercises daily.
The Chi Manna Yoga discharges the nervous system and provides an attunement for the physical body for deeper rest and relaxation.
How I developed the Chi Manna Yoga
From an early age, as a child, I did stretching exercises on my bed, which, I later understood, were certain yoga asanas. I exercised a lot, but was often restricted in movement for long periods of time due to treatment for scoliosis, so I couldn't always play sports or join gym class as a child. When I discovered tai chi and qigong in 1994, in my college days, during a recovery period from a herniated disc, I became aware of the currents in my body, thus began many insights and changes in my life.
Over the years I learned the long form of Tai Chi Chuan and in addition I began to study the inner power of qigong. From 2001, in addition to weekly classes, I took intensive qigong weekend trainings and courses, including with the tai chi and qigong master Mrs. Lin Ji (Lin Dzi) and with Dr. Yang, Jwing Ming and learned from an advanced student many exercises of the Tibetan doctor Alex Wu. From 2002 I started teaching myself and took my teacher's classes for half a year, after which I followed my heart and started my own Tai Chi Qigong school. For several years I taught Tai chi Chuan and after my spiritual awakening during a trip to Nepal, I then developed my own deeper spiritual Tai chi. I developed the Spiritual forms of “The Rising Sun,” “The Water Lily” and “The Growing Tree.” In these forms I taught for over 20 years.
Meanwhile, in January 2007, I started taking the Kriya Yoga classes of Paramahansa Yogananda (author of Autobiography of a Yogi) and later received my initiations in Los Angeles from Sri Chidananda. That same spring in 2007, I first came in contact with Prema Baba Swamiji, who became my personal teacher. I received many initiations, attended his classes and trainings and traveled to Florida. For years I continued to develop according to his instructions. After the Divine Prema Shakti initiation that Niels and I received from Baba, we were drawn to Mount Shasta. In 2011 we had the opportunity to visit the holy mountain in California and there I received a clear vision, a deep insight from the Divine Mother Amma, Mata Amritananda Mayi Devi, after which I met Her many times and a deep connection could develop. I visited Her ashrams and became inspired by Her great yogic unity experience and example. She is an inspiration for yoga and practical earthly spiritual development.
Through inner attunement and intuitive directions received during meditations, I developed the Chi Manna yoga myself over the years, to discharge and recharge my nervous system and energy pathways on a deeper level. The Chi Manna helps me deal with the sensitivity of my nervous system and release tension.
The Chi Manna yoga exercises combined with Meditation, as taught to me by Prema Baba and Mother Amma, as well as what I learned and experienced as a Kriya Yogi, Kriyaban SRF from Yogananda, all work deeply into these exercises. I practice it myself at least twice a day. It gives me a sense of balance, a discharge of my nervous system, an effective relaxation of body and mind. For me, this is an important preparation for deep meditation.
